Omelette - Keep cooking by Argiro Barbarigou

Υλικά συνταγής

- 4 large eggs

- 1 tbsp olive oil

- Butter (as much as a hazelnut)

- Salt

- Pepper

- a little cheese that melts, e.g. cheddar or gouda cheese, gruyere (optionally)

- Chopped chives (optionally)

Εκτέλεση συνταγής

For a perfect fluffy omelette in the frying pan, first beat the eggs.
Add salt and freshly ground pepper.
Heat the oil with the butter in a pan and pour in the beaten eggs.
Fry for about 5 minutes until the eggs are cooked.
Serve with grated cheese, freshly ground pepper and chopped chives.

Tips for a fluffy omelette

The fresher the eggs, the tastier the omelette will be.
Always season with salt and pepper when beating the eggs.
A little butter together with the olive oil in the pan, enhances the taste of the omelette.
It is always baked on one side, strange as it sounds. The fluffy omelette needs to be baked on one side, otherwise, if you want to fill it with grated cheese, roll it in the pan.
