70 gr. margarine
500 gr. beef, cut into cubes
1 small onion, finely chopped
½ teaspoon garlic
70 ml white wine
20 gr. sugar
1 kg of grated tomatoes
1 liter of water
Salt and pepper
500 gr. orzo
50 gr. Greek cheese feta, gratted
1. In a saucepan, heat half the amount of margarine and fry the beef, stirring until changes colour on the outside. We keep it aside until we need it.
2. Heat the remaining margarine in a saucepan and fry the onion and the garlic for 1 minute. Add the wine, the sugar, the tomatoes and season with salt and pepper.
3. Put the orzo in a baking tray. Add the water and the pieces of meat. Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C for 40-50 minutes.
4. Remove the baking tray from the oven and sprinkle with the gratted feta.
