Pizza with olives on French bread by Athena Loizidou

Recipe ingredients

1/2 large loaf of French bread

2 tablespoons ketchup

1 tablespoon tomato paste

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1/2 green pepper cut into slices

1/2 red pepper cut into slices

200 gr. grated mozzarella cheese

1 glass of mixed green and black pitted olives, cut into pieces


Recipe Directions

1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C. Line a baking tray with greaseproof paper.

2. Cut the French bread in half and again evenly along its entire length to create 4 servings. Place the pieces of bread in the pan.

3. In a small bowl, mix the ketchup with the pulp and the oregano. Spread the mixture on the surface of each piece of bread. Sprinkle evenly with the peppers, the olives and finish with the cheese.

4. Bake in the preheated oven until the cheese is completely melted, for about 20 minutes or more if you want the pizza to brown more.
