Notice: This chopper is intended exclusively for processing food stuffs in small quantities. The appliance is not intended for professional use.


Instructions for use

Utilisation / Assembling

-Place the bowl on a stable surface

-Place carefully the blades into the bowl.

a) For coarse chopping use only the lower blade.

b) For fine chopping and pureeing use upper blade and lower blade together.

c) To use both blades together, fit the lower blade onto the locating pin. Then fit the upper blade onto the lower blade and turn anti-clockwise to locate in place.

-For better stability, place the non-slip removable base on the bottom of the bowl.

-Then cut the ingredients into 1 to 2cm pieces and add them to the bowl. Do not exceed the maximum capacity level.

-Fit the cover of the bowl and turn clockwise to lock down.

-Place the motor unit onto the cover of the bowl.

-To start the processing, press down on the speed selector to select the desired speed.

a) Press the speed selector lightly to obtain speed 1

b) Press the speed selector firmly to obtain speed 2

-When operating the appliance, hold the motor unit firmly on the cover of the bowl.

-When you reach the desired result, release the button, unplug the appliance and wait until the moving of the blades has completely stopped.

-Remove the motor unit, the cover and the blades and empty the contents from the bowl. To separate the upper blade from the lower blade, turn it clockwise and pull upwards.


Notice:

-Fill the bowl only up to 500ml, otherwise the appliance does not function optimally.

-In case you wish to store the processed material in the bowl, remove the blades and close the bowl either with its cover or with the removable base-cover. Then, you can store in the refrigerator for a couple of hours.

-The lower blade it is not fixed firmly on the locating pin. This is normal because the lower blade is only firmly when the bowl cover is put on.

-While pureeing, always check that the ingredients are thoroughly blended, especially when preparing food for babies and small children.

-Do not process cooked food while is still hot. Allow the food to cool down and then move on to processing.

-Τhe cover does not hermetically seal the bowl. When processing liquid or highly fluid foods, do not exceed 400ml in order to avoid a possible leakage from the bowl.


Cleaning and storage

-Unplug the appliance from the mains power socket.

-Never open the casing of the motor unit. There is the risk of electrical shock.

-Clean the motor unit with a moist cloth and ensure that water cannot permeate through the openings of the motor block. For stubborn stains, put some mild detergent on the cloth. Wipe detergent residues off with a dram cloth.

-Clean thoroughly with water and detergent the bowl cover, the chopping blades, the bowl and the removable bowl base-cover. Then remove the detergent residues by rinsing them with clean water.

-The parts of the appliance (bowl cover, the chopping blades, the bowl and the removable bowl base-cover) are dishwasher safe.

-Do not use aggressive, chemical or abrasive cleaning agents! They could irreparably damage the surfaces!

-The parts of the appliance are not suitable for use in a steam sterilizer. Instead use a sterilizing solution.

-Dry everything well with a dish towel and ensure that the appliance is completely dry before re-use.

-Various ingredients, such as dill, safran, turmeric, carrot, etc., may cause dye stains on the bowl of the appliance. This is normal, does not cause any impact on the quality of the bowl’s material and it is not going to affect the flavor of the ingredients.

-Store the appliance in a dry and safe place, not easily accessible to children.


Warning: Under no circumstances may the motor unit be cleaned immersing it in water or holding it under running water.
