Instructions for use

Utilisation / Assembling

-Place the electric coffee maker on a stable surface.

-Before the first use, clean the appliance as described in the chapter “Cleaning”.

-Add into the coffee maker the ingredients (water, coffee, sugar optional) or just water if you want to use it as a kettle.

-Insert the cable into the socket, the power light indicator will automatically switch on, the coffee maker is in operating mode.

-Mix the coffee and the sugar in the electric coffee maker for a short time.

-When the coffee (or the water respectively) boils, remove the kettle from its base in order to stop the boiling.

-Unplug the appliance and serve the coffee.

-Clean the device after each use as described in "Cleaning" section. The device is now ready for the next use.

-Wait for about 1 minute before reusing the device.


Notice

-Ensure that the appliance never comes into contact with water while the plug is inserted into a power socket, especially if you are using it in the kitchen and close to the sink. Risk of electrical shock!

-Use your appliance with its own power base unit only. Do not place it on base units of any other appliance.

-Do not touch the appliance when in operation. Use only the handle.

-Before filling the coffee maker with water, always remove the kettle from its power base unit.

-Never fill the appliance over the maximum recommended quantity (max 4 cups). Water or coffee may overflow when boiling and can cause serious damages or burns.

-The appliance is designed for making coffee or boiling water. Do not heat any other liquid (e.g. milk) as this may stick on the resistance and create permanent residues on the internal base.

-Do not move the appliance when it is in operation.

-Never use the appliance empty. Disconnect it immediately after use.

-The appliance does not contain automatic switch off system. As soon as the coffee or the water is prepared unplug the appliance from the power supply.

-The device requires strict surveillance during the operating time. Otherwise can cause serious damage or burns.


Cleaning and storage

-Always unplug the appliance from the mains during cleaning.

-Never open the casing of the appliance. There is the risk of electrical shock.

-After each use let the appliance to cool down.

-Rinse only the inside part of the device with water. If needed, you can use a small quantity of detergent very carefully. Otherwise you can clean it just by boiling water inside.

-Make sure that the power base never comes into contact with water or detergent.

-Clean the external surfaces and the cable with a lightly moistened dish cloth. Wipe well the appliance with a dry cloth.

-Wipe all parts of the appliance well with a dry towel and ensure that the appliance is completely dry before the next use.

-In case of spots are formed on the internal base this will be due to the hardness of the water of your region and to salt assemblages and does not cause any adverse effects for human health.

-In order to avoid the onset of salt spots on the internal base, you should regularly desalinate the appliance either with a descaling agent or with white vinegar.

-Store the appliance only after ensuring that it has completely cooled down, in a dry and safe place, not easily accessible to children.


Warning: Under no circumstances may the appliance be cleaned by immersing it in water, holding it under running water or in the dishwasher.
