Assembling

A. Use as a simple hand mixer

-Ensure that the appliance is unplugged and that the power switch is placed on position «0».

-Select the suitable accessories according to the process you want to follow: the beaters for beating/mixing or the dough hooks for kneading/blending.

-Insert the accessories into the correct opening at the bottom of the mixer's main body, turn them slightly and push them in until they lock up into position.

The appliance is ready for use as a hand mixer (For this use, the accessories can be inserted in either opening).

B. Use as a stand mixer in combination with the stand and the rotating bowl

-Follow the steps 1-3 for use as a simple hand mixer.

-Place the stand of the appliance on a stable and dry surface.

-Lift the mixer holder up pressing the holder button.

-Place the bowl onto the stand of the appliance. The bowl is automatically rotated during the operation of the appliance.

-Place the mixer's main body onto the mixer's holder pressing the hand mixer release button until the main body finds the correct position on the holder and then release the hand mixer release button. Ensure that the mixer’s main body is correctly locked up on the holder.

-Lower the mixer's holder pressing the holder's release button so the accessories are inside the rotating bowl.

The appliance is ready for use as a stand mixer. (Caution: For this use the accessories must be connected in the correct position, i.e. the beater/dough hook with gear must be locked up into the left opening, differently the bowl will NOT rotate)

Warning: Insert the plug into the power socket only after you have assembled the appliance for use.

Utilisation

-Place the mixture into the rotating bowl or in any other bowl in case of use as a simple hand mixer.

-Plug the appliance into the power socket.

-Move the power switch from position «0» and adjust gradually to the desired speed position 1-5. The appliance is in operating mode. In order to reach the higher speed, press the Turbo pulse button at any time during operation.

-When you finish the process, turn the power switch to position «0» and unplug the appliance from the power socket.

Notice

-Process the ingredients at room temperature. Ingredients kept in the refrigerator (eg. butter, eggs, etc) should be taken out of the refrigerator earlier before processing.

-Always start processing at slow speeds and then increase gradually up to the desired speed.

-Do not overly process the ingredients. Always mix/blend mixtures as recommended in the recipe. Always use the lowest speed when adding new ingredients in the mixture.

-Do not run the appliance continuously for longer than 5 minutes. Leave the appliance to cool down for 15 minutes before the next use.

-Do not press the dough hooks/beaters eject button or the holder/hand mixer release buttons & while the appliance is operating.

-Do not place spatulas or other kitchen utensils into the bowl during operation.

-Never block the rotation of the bowl during operation as this can damage the appliance.

-The appliance can be adjusted directly to the Turbo speed.

-For Turbo function in combination with highest speed 5, do not run the appliance longer than 1 minute.

Cleaning and storage

-Unplug the appliance from the mains power socket.

-Never open the casing of the appliance. There is a risk of electrical shock.

-When disassembling, lift the holder by pressing the holder release button. To release the main body, press the hand mixer release button. To release the accessories or from the mixer’s main body, press the beaters-dough hooks eject button.

-Clean the mixer’s main body, the mixer holder and the mixer stand with a moist cloth and ensure that water cannot permeate through the openings of the appliance.

-Clean thoroughly with water and detergent the accessories and the rotating bowl. Then remove the detergent residues by rinsing them with clean water.

-The parts of the appliance (accessories and the rotating bowl) are dishwasher safe.

-Do not use aggressive, chemical or abrasive cleaning agents! They could irreparably damage the surfaces!

-Dry everything well with a dish towel and ensure that the appliance is completely dry before re-use.

-Store the appliance in a dry and safe place, not easily accessible to children.

Warning: Under no circumstances may the appliance be cleaned immersing it in water or holding it under running water.
