NAVA supports the "Initiative for the Child "

At NAVA we invest in Corporate Social Responsibility actions with the aim of offering our best to non-profit organizations in Greece, which produce remarkable work supporting the Greeks. We strongly support the initiatives that provide significant assistance to Greek society, acting as an assistant in issues that concern child protection, minority groups, women rights and environmental protection.

In the framework of this philosophy and in collaboration with the Ellinika Markets and the Supermarkets Proodos, we proceeded to the delivery of necessities to the NGO "Initiative for the child".

We owe a big "thank you" to institutions such as the "Initiative for the child", without which we would face - as a society - major problems in supporting local communities, families, victims of domestic violence and people in need, regardless of gender, ethnicity and race .

Donation of cookware & kitchen utensils

We proceeded with the donation of kitchen items in order to fully cover the needs of the new Day Care Center of Veria (KIF). In this new Center, children in need and in danger, who come from dysfunctional families, find shelter in an environment of high scientific care and family warmth, in the implementation of a special adoption program, which has been developing for eight years with a lot of encouraging results from the "Initiative for the Child".

The importance of the work produced in KIF has been recognized by the agents related to it, whether they are state-institutional, or they are structures and organizations. In this project we contributed with our donation, strengthening and promoting the smooth operation of this project but also of the unique work of the members, the volunteers and the personnel.

"We received your large donation of cutlery and dishes, which fully covers the needs of these items, for the new Day Care Center of Veria (KIF). Already, with our move to the new facilities, it is possible for twice as many children (40 instead of 20 so far) to benefit from the services of KIF." tells us Aristotelis Sidiropoulos, Chairman of the Board of the Initiative for the Child.

The Initiative for the Child has been involved for 10 years in Northern Greece, with the care and protection of children at risk and has developed a network of Structures that support this project. Today, with the needs having increased and the project having expanded both in terms of scope and in terms of depth and quality of services provided, our Organization is attempting its logistical and executive integration, in order to improve and expand these services at the level of Northern Greece, encouraged to do so by the recognition and awards it has achieved in Greece and internationally.
