Citrus fruit jam by Athena Loizidou

Recipe ingredients

For 2 jars (250ml each)

150 ml fresh orange juice (from about 1 large orange)

50 ml lemon juice (from about 1 lemon)

50 ml grapefruit juice (from about ½ grapefruit)

250 ml of water

500 gr. sugar

The zest of an orange

Recipe Directions

1. Wash and wipe the orange. With the tool that we clean potatoes, we clean its skin and cut it into thin sticks.

2. Squeeze the amount of orange, lemon and grapefruit juice we need and put it in a saucepan. Add water, sugar and orange peel to the pot, stir and let the mixture boil. Lower the heat to medium and simmer for 50 minutes.

3. 50 minutes later, remove the pot from the heat and fill our sterile jars with the jam. Allow the jam to cool completely before sealing the jars. Our jam is kept in the refrigerator.
